This is the proposed programming for September 2025-June 2026.

Infant-3 years Nursery

Our Nursery is currently unstaffed, but we would like to have volunteers available as stand-bys in case a family would like nursery services. The Nursery is next to the Sanctuary and has toys and books available for unstructured play in a safe and nurturing environment.

PreK-Grade 3  Holidays and Holy Days/World Blessings

This group of children will be learning about and celebrating the holidays and holy days of religions around the world, noting connections to our UU values and principles. Cooking could be a regular part of this curriculum, if one or more leaders is interested in it.

Grades 4-5 (Sept-Dec 2025)   OWL 4-5 (Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education)

*OWL participation requires attending orientation

Workshops include Sexuality and Values, Body Image, Changes in Puberty, Consent, Healthy Relationships and more.  Will meet on Sunday mornings.

Grades 4-6 (Jan-June 2026)   Crossing Paths

Most faith units include learning, a field trip or virtual visit (mosque, temple, synagogue, churches, and more), followed by reflection.  Most field trips are on Sundays but some are on other days.

Grades 6-12  Justice and Community Building

Youth will be building community among themselves through games and activities, and then widening the circle to focus on the CVUUS, Middlebury, and Vermont communities with hands-on projects that are linked to our UU values.  There will be flexibility to focus on issues that youth and leaders are passionate about.
