We celebrated Silas Conlon and Peter Orzech as they “Bridged” (transitioned from high school to the next stage of their lives). We will also thanked our wonderful Religious Exploration Leaders, Assistants, Council and others who gave their time, energy and love to our children and youth. Seasons of Love was sung by the Choir and RE thank you presents prepared by our kids were offered. And afterwards, cake!

Words from Our Bridging Youth (Peter Orzech and Silas Conlon)
Unison reading: We honor you for all you have been, all you are,
and all you will be. May what you have learned here support you
and inspire you, as we move together in deeper understanding of what
matters and how we want to live. We are on this journey together,
wherever you may go. We pledge our love and support to you, always.
Seasons of Love from Rent
Jonathan Larson, music and lyrics
525,000 moments so dear
How do you measure, measure a year?
In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife
In 525,600 minutes. How do you measure a year in the life?
How about love? Measure in love. Seasons of love
525,000 journeys to plan
How do you measure the life of a woman or man?
In truths that she learned, or in times that he cried
In bridges he burned, or the way that she died
It’s time now to sing out, Though the story never ends
Let’s celebrate, remember a year In the life of friends
Remember the love
You got to, you got to remember the love,
Measure, measure your life in love
Remember the love, You know that love is a gift from up above
Remember the love, Share love, give love, spread love
Measure in love. Seasons of love
