From Abolition to Black Lives Matter (& Beyond)

Onsite & Zoom. Come to this service in which we will honor Black History Month and this month’s Soul Matters theme of resilience. We’ll share our offering plate with  the CVUUS Discretionary Fund used for the very immediate direct benefit to the neediest people in our CVUUS community, provided in a confidential manner. Plan to stay after the service for a brief informal follow up discussion with Rev. Tricia as part of her Adult RE: The Stories that Got Us this Far series.

See our order of service:

RE this Sunday: Children will start in worship and then go to Fenn House for an activity. They are welcome to stay in worship and sit with family members or at our activity table, or use our nursery (staffed by caregivers upon request).

Stay for Social Hour in the Ann Ross Fellowship Hall!

ADULT RE: UU Stories that Got Us this Far a five-part sermon series about Unitarian Universalism led by Rev. Tricia Hart following the worship services that she leads in sanctuary ~11:45. Explore:

  • What’s the difference between Unitarianism and Universalism? Why did they decide to join together?
  • How does the evolving history of UUism fit into the larger story of religion in this country?
  • Can UUs understand and explain our theology? (Do we really have to?)
