Look for the many ways we welcome our LGBTQIA+ community here.
June Is Pride Month
June is declared “Pride Month” to commemorate the Stonewall Uprising which began in New York City on June 28, 1969. These historic protests and clashes with police are widely considered the catalyst for the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement marked by Pride Days in June in many towns throughout the country, including Vergennes VT. CVUUS participates in this as well as others in Burlington and Middlebury which pushed out their Pride Day events to the fall in recent years to better include college students.
Annual Big Pride, Little City Saturday, June 27, 12-4 pm
