Would you like to be part of our upcoming art installation of Masks On the Line!? It will be in and around Middlebury, this Sat. Aug. 1st. This is an opportunity to create colorful, oversized masks to be tied together, then hung in store windows, both in and outside, to bring color, creativity, hope and healing for all during these dark, uncertain times – we are aiming for 100 masks, if not more, and would love to have you be a part of this installation, another project sewn by community for community through Sewing for Change.
Dimensions are: 12” lengthwise, 7” height, and with 20” ties attaching to each corner.
Deadline is Wednesday, July 30 at 5 pm. In-town drop-off is Sarah Ashe’s at 38 South St. – she has a great porch, with painted rockers on it, very inviting!
If you have questions, please contact me, and if you know others who’d like to sew for this, please share with them.
We’ll have publicity from the local papers, and maybe Channel 5 as well!
And if you’d like to help with the installation, please let me know – it will be Sat. Aug. 1st at 11 a.m. we’d love your help!
Thanks so much – Bethany Barry firstname.lastname@example.org
