Religious Exploration Porgramming for Children and Youth 2026-27
Infant-4 years Nursery
The Nursery is available during the service for our youngest friends. It is down the hall from the
Sanctuary and has toys and books available for unstructured play in a safe and nurturing environment.
Parents are welcome to leave their children with the nursery caregivers or stay with them. Hearing
devices can be used to listen to the service while in the nursery.
K-Grade 3 Explorers: Lego ValUUes
This group of children will be learning about our UU Values – Justice, Equity, Transformation, Plurality,
Interdependence, Generosity and love – through stories and hands-on exploration including lego
prompts, crafts, and more.
Grades 4-6 Deep Divers: Crossing Paths
Explore the faith traditions of Unitarian Universalism, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, and different
denominations of Christianity. Most faith units include learning, a field trip or virtual visit (mosque,
temple, synagogue, churches, and more), followed by reflection. Most field trips are on Sundays but
some are on other days.
Youth, Grades 7-12 Youth Group
We offer a safe space where middle and high school youth can socialize and connect. Activities may
include art, board games, social justice projects and more, depending on the interest of the youth.
All Ages Annual Events and Fun Days
These are our all ages annual traditions and other fun days when the age-based groups are not meeting.
Includes the ice cream social in September, making ornaments in November, and Valentines in February,
as well as seasonal celebrations such as Winter Solstice and Easter.
