2nd-6th Grade: Harry and UU
Spirit of Adventure is a curriculum where the learning takes place through physical movement, challenges, and adventure. Children learn about the values of Unitarian Universalism using activities like dissecting a computer, building cantilevered architecture, and circus arts. Sports, medicine, food, science, building and exploring are the themes for learning about our history, famous Unitarian Universalists who have made notable contributions to our lives, and ways to incorporate our principles into our daily lives.
Based on the Harry Potter books. Includes fun wizarding activities within a main purpose of social action. The group fights against 7 Horcruxes which are real-world problems like hunger, poverty, and illiteracy.
